Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Hyperion360 collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Hyperion360’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Hyperion360’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Hyperion360 may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Hyperion360 also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on https://hyperion360.com blog posts. Hyperion360 only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Hyperion360 discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Hyperion360’s behalf or to provide services available at Hyperion360’s website, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using Hyperion360’s website, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Hyperion360 will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Hyperion360 discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Hyperion360 believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Hyperion360, third parties or the public at large.

E-commerce

Those who engage in transactions with Hyperion360 – by purchasing Hyperion360’s services or products, are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, Hyperion360 collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Hyperion360. Hyperion360 does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Hyperion360 Starforge and Google Calendar

Hyperion360 Starforge is the hiring and interview scheduling software we run at starforge.hyperion360.com and cal.hyperion360.com. This section covers the information Starforge receives when you connect a Google Calendar to it, and it applies to Starforge as well as to this Website.

Who connects a calendar, and what we request

  • Hyperion360 staff who schedule interviews can connect their Google Calendar with three permissions: see free/busy availability (calendar.freebusy), see the list of their calendars (calendar.calendarlist.readonly), and create and delete events (calendar.events).
  • Candidates and client hiring managers can optionally connect a Google Calendar so we can suggest meeting times that work for them. We request only free/busy availability (calendar.freebusy) for their primary calendar. Connecting is never required to book a meeting.

What we read

  • Free/busy time ranges (start and end times only) for the calendars you choose. We do not read the titles, descriptions, locations, or attendees of your existing events.
  • For staff only: the names and IDs of your calendars, whether you can write to each one, and the email address of the connected Google account, so you can pick which calendars count as busy and where new interviews go.

How we use it

  • To show open interview times, prevent double bookings, and add confirmed interviews to the staff member’s chosen calendar.
  • For staff only, we create an event when an interview is booked, add the candidate as a guest so Google sends them an invitation, optionally attach a Google Meet link, and delete the event if the interview is cancelled. We never edit or delete events that Starforge did not create.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train or improve artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We do not send it to AI or language model providers.

How we store and protect it

  • Busy times are held in server memory for at most 30 seconds to calculate availability. They are never written to our database.
  • OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and never written to logs. For staff, we also store the calendar names and IDs you selected and a reference (calendar ID and event ID) to each event Starforge created.
  • All connections to Google use HTTPS.
  • Our employees do not read Google user data, except with your permission, when needed for security (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or to support Starforge’s internal operations. Hyperion360 administrators can see Starforge’s own interview bookings (who is meeting whom, and when), which is scheduling data Starforge creates, not data read from your calendar.

Sharing

We do not share or transfer Google user data to third parties, except as needed to provide the scheduling features described above, to comply with applicable law, for security purposes, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to you.

Retention and deletion

  • Candidate and hiring manager connections expire automatically after 30 days. Within minutes of expiry, or when you disconnect, we delete the stored token.
  • Staff connections stay active until the staff member disconnects them in Starforge, which deletes the stored token and calendar selections.
  • You can also remove Starforge’s access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To ask us to delete any remaining data, email [email protected].

Limited Use

Hyperion360 Starforge’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Business Transfers

If Hyperion360, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Hyperion360 goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Hyperion360 may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Hyperion360 may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Hyperion360’s sole discretion. Hyperion360 encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
