Summary
The retail systems/order management team develops robust technology that enables our 35M members to complete their magical online shopping experience, starting with the shopping cart and managing their orders through to shipping and returns. We’re looking for a Senior Engineer who is comfortable working with a team of engineers in an agile environment on our systems integration and development efforts for an e-commerce company that processes thousands of sales daily and hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue per year.
What You’ll Do
You will contribute to two key projects:
- Multi-Channel Pricing: Enable multi-channel pricing across various platforms.
- System Refactoring: Refactor the client’s proprietary enterprise service bus to improve system stability and operational visibility.
Your Background and Skills
- C# and .NET: Strong experience with C# and .NET technologies.
- Relational Databases: Proficiency in working with relational databases.
- Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Microservices and Containerization: Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization.
- Concurrency and Multi-threading: Expertise in concurrency, multi-threading, and event-driven architectures.
- CI/CD: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
- Agile/Scrum: A working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Communication Skills: Strong proficiency in English.
These Are Big Pluses
- Java: Experience with Java.
- Oracle SQL: Familiarity with Oracle SQL.
