Join Our Team as a Senior Frontend Engineer

Our client is a leading off-price e-commerce portfolio company, connecting the next-generation shopper to world-class brands. They’ve defined the online treasure hunt through their daily sale events allowing a large, loyal member base to discover over 5,000 premium and luxury brands at prices up to 70% off full-price retail.

They’re currently modernizing their technical stack and need motivated contributors to drive their technology forward. On the frontend you’ll be able to contribute on modern React and Typescript single page applications, running on AWS cloud native architectures.

What You’ll Do

Contribute to future development and architecture for the consumer facing e-Commerce websites.
As a senior contributor, you will work closely with other software engineers and product managers to deliver rapid value.
Deliver fast user experience for the desktop and mobile web users, utilizing React, and other technologies.
Contribute to the development of an inspiring technology vision and deliver on that vision through incremental value releases.
Participate as an active member of an agile team, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications.
Collaborate with Dublin-based team to create clean, efficient, and maintainable code built to common standards.

Your Background and Skills Will Include

5+ years of experience
Must have experience in Web technologies like React, Typescript. Anything else is a bonus!
Fluent in ES6 and ES5 JavaScript, showcasing versatility in coding standards.
Knowledge of python
Knowledge in design systems
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development team
Familiarity with CI/CD best practices
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS
A drive to iterate architecture in harmony with an agile workflow
Experience with modern objected-oriented development, dynamic language preferred
Adaptive mindset for handling uncertainty in legacy code, demonstrating resilience.
Autonomous problem solver when needed, capable of taking initiative and delivering results independently.
A love of learning and teaching
Fluency in English
Bachelor’s Degree desired, but not required.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a collaborative team environment.
