Job Description

We are looking for a QA Engineer who helps transform the future of legal technology by bringing speed, intelligence, and reliability to AI-driven document generation. This role is perfect for someone who believes quality is a mindset, automation is a craft, and observability is essential to building trustworthy AI systems.

What You’ll Do

• Own the testing lifecycle — Design, implement, and continuously evolve automated testing across the entire stack (UI, API, system). Drive Shift-Left QA from story kickoff through deployment.
• Build robust automation — Use Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium for UI automation and Postman/Newman for API validation. Automate everything that can be automated.
• Validate AI/LLM systems — Leverage tools like Helicone, Langfuse, and custom validators to inspect and test AI outputs. Develop semantic assertions and regression suites for LLM behavior.
• Prevent issues early — Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams during sprint planning and grooming to embed quality from the start.
• Test resilience and reliability — Implement synthetic monitoring and edge-case fuzzing to simulate real-world chaos. Bonus if you enjoy Chaos Engineering.
• Define quality gates — Establish what “production-ready” truly means. Codify regression, smoke, and integration test flows within CI/CD pipelines.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of QA or SDET experience, with strong frontend automation expertise
• Deep experience with Go or TypeScript, plus frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman, Newman, or custom tooling
• Experience with Shift-Left Testing, Zero-Bug Policy, and Mutation Testing
• Comfort working within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins)
• A passion for reproducibility, traceability, and high test coverage

Bonus Points

• Hands-on experience with Helicone, Langfuse, or other LLM/AI observability tools
• Experience with Synthetic Monitoring (Checkly, Datadog Synthetics, etc.)
• Familiarity with Chaos Engineering tools like Gremlin or Litmus
• Experience designing load/stress tests using k6, Locust, or Gatling
• Background testing prompt-driven or LLM-based applications, including semantic evaluation
