Our client is a multinational big data analytics company. They offer a Customer Data Platform (CDP) that unifies customer data from disparate sources to deliver a holistic view of the customer enabling insights and actions with the objective of optimizing personalized customer journeys. They have differentiated technologies to ingest and unify customer data, perform machine learning on customer data and syndicate with other software products for activation. They have numerous large global customers who trust them to handle their complexity, scale, and security needs.

They are seeking an IT Helpdesk Engineer to join their dynamic IT team, supporting users in the EU region. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in solving technical end-user issues, assisting with onboarding and offboarding tasks, and maintaining our help desk documentation. This role requires proficiency in Okta, Jamf, Google Suite, and Slack, and close collaboration with the Japan IT Team for tier 1 level tasks.

Working Hours

Covers EU Region from BST 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Candidate can be based in Vietnam or Philippines or in Eastern Europe

What You’ll Do

User Support

  • Act as the primary contact for users in the APAC region, understand their issues, and provide timely assistance.
  • Handle user requests via Jira, Slack channel or Zoom calls during your shift hours.

Technical Expertise

  • Provide support and troubleshooting for Okta, Jamf, Google Suite, and Slack.
  • Address, resolve, and close tickets within established SLAs.

Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Assist with the technical aspects of onboarding new employees and offboarding departing employees.

Documentation

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive help desk documentation for end-users.

Collaboration

  • Work in tandem with the Japan IT team to handle tier 1 level tasks and ensure seamless support.

Your Background and Skills Will Include

  • 5+ years of Technical IT Support in a helpdesk role.
  • 2+ years solid experience in Okta administration.
  • 2+ years experience in Macbook administration.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills in English.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining IT documentation.
  • Available for shift work only based on EU time zones (BST 9am – 6pm)
