This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, providing IT support across the APAC region, with a focus on user assistance, system administration, and documentation.

About Our Client

Our client is a multinational big data analytics company offering a Customer Data Platform (CDP) that unifies customer data from disparate sources. Their platform enables machine learning, actionable insights, and data syndication with other software products. Global clients such as Subaru, Panasonic, LG, and Canon rely on their platform for its scale, complexity, and security.

What You’ll Do

User Support

  • Serve as the primary contact for APAC users, providing timely and effective assistance.
  • Handle support requests via Jira, Slack, or Zoom during APAC shift hours.

Technical Expertise

  • Troubleshoot and support Okta, Jamf, Google Suite, and Slack.
  • Address and resolve tickets within established SLAs.

Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Assist with the technical onboarding of new employees and offboarding of departing team members.

Documentation

  • Create and maintain comprehensive help desk documentation for end-users.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Japan IT Team on Tier 1 level support tasks.

Your Background and Skills

  • Experience:
    • 4–5 years in Technical IT Support/helpdesk roles.
    • 3–4 years of experience with Okta, Jamf, and Macbook administration.
    • 2–3 years of experience with Google Suite and Slack.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
    • Strong problem-solving ability and a customer-first attitude.
    • Experience creating and maintaining IT documentation.
    • Must be available for shift work in APAC time zones.

Bonus Points

  • Experience managing Jira ticketing and Confluence documentation.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese.
